4th of July

I called one of Sennet’s schoolmates to see if they were going to the fireworks at gasworks park because they can walk from their house. I was hoping to be able to park in their yard so we didnt need to go down as early in years past. But Kelly (Olives mom) said they were going to her family lake house that is about 35 minutes from Seattle and we were welcome to join. She made it sound fun and I said as long as you’re sure we’re not imposing we would love to join. It was a super fun day! The weather wasnt super hot so swimming was a bit chilly but that didnt seem to slow the kids down much. We had burgers and beer and the kids played for hours. The plan was to follow them back to gasworks park but we were wiped and came home and we were all asleep by 9!olive and clover
