We had planned on taking Sennet skiing for the 1st time today, but last night before bed I noticed he was burning up so we took his temp and it was 102.5.  He slept with us last night and he was restless and wheezing and still had a temp this am.  He seems to be feeling ok for the most part but has had a temp all day- needless to say we didn’t go skiing.  For the most part Sennet has been in good spirits, but I admit it is really nice to have my baby needing me and wanting to rest all day on my shoulder. This is Sennet’s first fever and the most sick he has been to date.. really a thing to be grateful for I suppose.  Four skiers were killed on local mountain accidents yesterday in two different avalanches, so I am not too upset about the change of plans.  However, Sennet was super excited about going after watching several youtube videos of kids skiing.  Yesterday we had him try on his gear and walk around in his boots.  I had hoped to post mountain pictures as well- but here are the preparation pictures.
