Second Ski Lesson
Sennet had his second day of ski lessons last Sunday. It was a gorgeous day on the mountain. Again we left early, just in case there was traffic, but it was smooth sailing all the way up – it only takes about 50 minutes. We were there early enough to have some fig bars and bananas before his lesson.
I skied for the majority of his lesson, and then came in and watched him from the deck for a while until he was finished. We got some hot chocolate, and then I asked him if he wanted to go practice skiing for a while more. He nodded vigorously.
For the next couple hours I would push him up the slope and then run back down and he would ski down to me. He fell a lot, but never seemed upset and always wanted to do it again. Quite a lot of the time he made it all the way down without falling and was able to turn. He had a blast, and I had a blast watching him.
