I thought the first bike ride with the kid seat went so well, I decided to pick Sennet up from school with the bike. All of the kids thought it was so cool- he was like a little rock star. As for me, the ride to pick him up was not too bad- it took me about 30 minutes and I took a route that has some traffic (although not bad) but there is a nice bike lane. The ride back wasnt so easy breezy- it took about an hour and seemed all uphill. Sennet kept saying “all done” (in other words I am so over this) and “more snacks” and “go home.” I think it might be nice to take him to school on the bike (if time in the morning allows) that way I only have my weight (which is more than it should be) to drag up the hills on the way home…
