Let me show you a few examples of focusing.  What is focusing?~Sennet
After a quick discussion about blurry versus in focus and how to use the back button to focus the lens.. off Sennet went in search of items to photograph.  I set up the camera for exposure (more or less) and off he went.  I grabbed my other camera and grabbed the opposing view.  He was in complete awe of how he was able to focus on anything he wanted.  Yes, I am totally beaming right now.

After a few attempts at not getting the “outside to focus” I showed him how to focus on a light like on the towers or a building and then he had a moment of pure magic.



I talked to him about moving the cat into a spot of light so that he could focus on him easier. And yes I know we need to put away the Halloween stuff!

shooting against backlight is a conversation for another day.I’m atill figuring that one out!



I showed him a bit about exposure and how that can change the photo and his mind was blown. And I loved it.
