Over the Hills & Through the Woods…
…to Grandmother’s house we go!
Towards the end of summer vacation we made the trip to Grandma’s house in Fort Collins. Sennet was super excited to see Grandma, super excited to go on a plane, and super excited to be on vacation.
We took our mitts and balls, and while Stacie was at yoga we went to Warren Park to play catch. They had an empty baseball diamond so we practiced pitching for a while. Kid’s getting good!
[wpvideo 3NblXxte] [wpvideo HXnAsjWo]We also spent a lot of time just a few blocks from Grandma’s at City Park: playing soccer, exploring the lake, feeding the ducks, and especially hanging out at the City Park Pool and their big water slides. Sennet LOVED them!
Stacie was able to find some super cute glasses in Fort Collins. Two pair with lenses, in fact for the price of just one pair of frames in Seattle!
We also did a lot of relaxing, and got in one night over at our friends Mike and Heather’s house for a BBQ and so Sennet could play with their kids, Mira and Max (who had a trampoline!)
And it got hot enough one day for Sennet to streak through the hose as Grandma cooled him down!
