Sennet had his last little league game of 2016 yesterday. The team played great, made some great plays in the field for a lot of outs, and really hit the ball well at the plate.

Sennet had a really good game. He caught a fly ball off the lead off hitter for the first out of the game, and also had a great out where he was playing short stop and picked up a hard grounder and fired a perfect throw right to Milo at first base – who caught it just before the runner got to the base! He also ran down a long hit in the outfield and fired it all the way back into the infield to keep the hitter at third with a triple instead of getting a home run. (Unfortunately I didn’t get those last two plays recorded.)

At the plate he was bummed that his first contact went right to a kid who was able toss it to first and get him out. The next time up he hit another grounder but beat it out for a single. His last time at bat he hit it over the pitcher’s head into the outfield for a stand-up double.
