Stacie bought Sennet a new hoodie the other day, and he’s been wearing it almost non-stop (even to bed one night). It’s a dark, forest-green pullover with front pockets. He loves it.
Last night we were upstairs getting ready for bed and he was wearing it while brushing his teeth. He began explaining it to me:
“I wear the hood up when it’s raining. It’s a rain hood.”
I told him it could also be a cold hood for when it’s cold out.
“But I wear it when it rains. Not in the summer when it’s nice. I wear it when it’s raining.”
He stops brushing and puts his hands in the pockets.
“I put my hands in the pockets.” Pulls one hand out.
“One hand in one pocket. And one hand to hold the doughnut.”
