Everyday when I pick Sennet up from school he asks if he can go home and be a bombero (fireman) and if we can go to the park and ride his pedal bike. The rain has been relentless so the answer to the park question has been no most days. At least I let him wear his fireman gear!

We had our big Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday this year when our German friends came into town. Sennet helped with many of the preparations including lathering up the bird with butter to get it ready for the deep fryer. If you have never had deep fried turkey- you should. It is really so yummy!

Our friends Marla and Gordon are flying in from Germany this weekend so we are doing our big Thanksgiving dinner when they are in town. So today, Sennet and I did some prep work and cleaning to get ready for our guests tomorrow.
