PS- the hard books will be ordered for the grandparents and Aunt D soon- don’t get your feathers ruffled! Love Sennet.
We took Sennet skiing for the first time on Friday, up to the Summit at Snoqualmie – about 50 miles east of Seattle. He was quite excited about it, and even wanted to carry his own skis up to the lodge from the parking lot. We stayed on the bunny slope, which has a “magic carpet” conveyor belt to get the little skiers back up to the top. Kind of like the flat escalators in the airport, but with rubber traction so your skis will grip.
At one point Sennet kept saying something in a slightly irritated voice and Kevin thought he was getting tired of skiing. Turns out he was saying, “Go faster!” So they did.
We all took a break inside to warm up and have snack. Then it was back to the slopes for a few more runs with daddy before heading home.

I sucked but loved to play. I don’t have any depth perception which I didn’t learn until many years later. I have never seen the “hidden” picture in the dotted prints that were so popular in the 80’s. Plus I didn’t qualify for several career fields in the Air Force because of my lack of depth perception…needless to say I couldn’t hit or catch a ball…the back of the photo says 1983, I was 11.
