Costa Rica – Zipline Canopy Tour
video
Tìa D, Sennet, and myself went on a zipline tour above the rainforest canopy on December 21st, 2015. It was at Volcàn Arenal, near La Fortuna in northern Costa Rica. We rode in a tractor-pulled trailer up a rocky road for a few miles, put on our safety harnesses, and climbed up a tower to the first zipline.
Sennet was the first person to go across. (He had to go with a guide because he wasn’t heavy enough for his weight to pull him all the way across.) He loved it: Almost a kilometer across, 360 feet (33 stories) above the Fortuna River and Pino Blanco waterfall.
We then had to cross back across the river on a suspension bridge to the next zipline.
We went from one zipline to another across the rainforest until we had done 7 ziplines.
We all had a blast, and Sennet said that he wanted to do more ziplines.
