Friday was Sennet’s last day of Spring Break and I took him hiking up Little Si near North Bend, WA – about 30 miles east of Seattle in the Cascades. I wasn’t sure how he’d do, as we’ve never really hiked a long hike before. He killed it. Basically ran up the trail the whole way, and then ran back down. We had banana bread, bananas, water, and a bar at the top, sitting in the sun looking over the whole valley. Pretty cool. He had a blast, and was such a strong hiker we will definitely be doing more of these.

The Little Si hike that we did was 5 miles round trip, 1,265 feet of elevation gain, and it took us just under two hours.
