I think Sennet loves them!

We are having great weather in Ft Collins and Sennet is taking advantage of both the weather and time with paw paw!
We were in the car for almost 15 hours-even eating on the move. Sennet was a trooper and was truly patient and awesome. Thank goodness for the iPad, yo gabba gabba and Sesame Street! On the other hand, I was cranky after about 12 hours.
When you have to go you have to go… Potty break road trip style
We had a great sunny day in Seattle today so I took the kid for a bike ride on Lake Washington in Leschi!
The other morning I had to take the dogs to the groomer to get their haircuts, and since it was on the way I took Sennet with me to drop him off at school afterwards.
I had both dogs in the middle seats for the drive over there and was just talking and singing with Sennet.
Suddenly Sennet said, in a serious-questioning voice, “What’s Kaiser doing?”
Without turning around I nonchalantly said, “He going to get his hair cut.”
Sennet, said – very serious this time, “No. What’s Kaiser DOING?”
I turned around to see Sennet down pointing at Kaiser from his child seat.
Kaiser was in the passenger-side foot well and had dug out the Kleenex box that I have stashed under the seat. He was madly digging into it with both front paws as if he was frantically trying to dig to China. Kleenex and shredded bits of cardboard box was flying up between his legs and out from his sides and floating around the back of the car…
Crazy hound.
Sennet and I made some more homemade nut butter this morning- it is a hit around this house. Today we used pecans, cashews and almonds (all raw/unsalted). I added a bit more oil today to make it more creamy which is how Sennet seems to prefer it for dipping his apples.
I just love his laugh in this one- not sure what sparked the laughing fit but I am glad I had the camera out.
