Sennet has long been obsessed with sweeping but now he likes to pull up all of the rugs too. It would be funny if I didnt have to put all the rugs back. There is no talking him out of pulling up the rugs either. I am sure he wont believe he ever did this when he is 15!
He also recently started copying something I do all the time- yell for Kevin. Often, I am yelling for the nearly deaf Kevin down the stairs (kevin, Kevin, KEVIN!) and he is either really deaf or more likely really ignoring me. Anyway, Sennet started doing the same thing and it is quite funny. He will even call Kevin Kevin if Kevin doesnt answer quickly enough to daddy (usually at dinner time). The other day his school was closed and for some reason Sennet didnt believe Kevin was at work and throughout the day stood at the top of the basement stairs yelling for kevin, Kevin, KEVIN!
Sennet continues to enjoy the Lil’ Kickers soccer on Saturday mornings… but it’s pretty crazy with ten 2-year-olds running around, kicking, jumping, screaming, and tripping over each other. No video this week, but trust me – it’s like trying to herd cats sometimes…
After practice Sennet and I stopped by our favorite taco stand, El Camión, and picked up lunch. While we waited, the lady gave Sennet a sample of Mexican Hot Chocolate. A bit surprised by the spiciness at first, he was soon enjoying it. The warm drink was welcome as we waiting in the cold November morning…
