Sennet loves having breakfast on the deck and yesterday he woke up pretty early so after he had cereal it was still too early to take him to school so I decided to make pancakes for him to take to school. I took them on his birthday and they were a big hit. They don’t have much sugar or butter but are still delicious so I don’t feel bad about taking them for snacktime. Sennet “stirred” the batter while I was flipping them and that kept him happy and occupied. Of course, he had second breakfast too.
I stopped at Costco right before I picked him up so the other shot is of him helping unload the car. He loves to help and it seems to be easier to let him help and know what he is doing than wonder what he is into elsewhere.
Tonight I took Sennet on date night since daddy is out-of-town. We went to a new place called The Skillet and it was really tasty but Sennet was restless and didn’t want to sit still…but I did get cheesecake to go, so it was a successful outing.
